A Word For The Weary

When life’s got you down and you feel like your doing nothing but spinning your wheels… you probably are! Get out of the mud and clean yourself up! Jesus has got your back! He will get you going and give you the push you need to get you back on track and through it all!

Jesus tells us, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”” – Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV

As hard as it may seem and as far away as the end of that tunnel may be, you can have victory through pain and suffering! Don’t let this world get you down! You can overcome! And the best way to do that Is to come to the feet of Jesus! Humble yourself before The Lord and He will lift you up! Take His yoke and learn from Him, for you will find rest for your soul!

Use that faith that was in you when you first turned to Christ! Romans 5:1-5 tells us, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

Jesus tells us, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.” – Luke 9:23-24 NKJV

Make a choice today to be like Christ! Forget about yourself and change your focus! Walk through your tribulations by setting your sights on Jesus! Use your experience to be an encourager instead of a discourager! Stop sulking in your pain and use that pain to help others!

Ask the Holy Spirit to mend you from the inside out and use that mending to attend to the needs of those around you! Ask Him to give you the power to overcome! Pick up your cross and deny yourself so Jesus can work through you while living the victorious Life!

God’s word tells us, “Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” – Philippians 2:1-4 NKJV
