Christ has risen, the Easter Holiday is over, now what? Back to business as usual?
If that business is to do the will of The Father then you answered rightly. If not, you’re heading in the wrong direction!
Jesus has risen, He has beaten death, He has overcome the world! Now follow in His footsteps! For those who are His “are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.” (Ephesians 5:30 NKJV)
Those who are His, once under the knowledge of the truth no longer mingle with the fleshy things of this world! Those who are His, no longer mingle with the things that are wrong, the things that are unrighteous! We now live to please God and we please Him with the way we live our lives! We live in the truth! We trust in the truth! We spread the truth!
We follow the words of Paul The Apostle, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15 NKJV)
“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.” (Hebrews 10:26-27 NKJV)
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:28-29 NKJV)
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:11-14 NKJV)
“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20-21 NKJV)
