Committed & Established (Proverbs 16:3)

Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established. – Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV)

We are nothing without The Lord and if you want to transform God’s promises into reality you need to commit to a relationship with Him. You need to give Jesus your all! Serve Jesus, not yourself! Let Him be your pilot not your co-pilot! Strip down and go all in, no holds barred! You decrease, He must increase! Full attention on Him! Front and center in all that you do! “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:6) If you have unforgiven sin give it to The Lord and ask Him for forgiveness, repent and get rid of any inappropriate junk from your life. In all things do what is good and pleasing in the sight of The Lords eyes! We don’t want to hinder our relationship with Him! When the teacher tells you to “spit out your gum and throw it away”, don’t pretend you threw it away and stick it back in your mouth! Get rid of it! Our Heavenly Father above sees all things! You can’t hide anything from God!

The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works. (Psalms 33:13-15 NKJV)

The question you may want to ask yourself … “What are your works committed to?” Your commitment to Christ is what will make you one with God and when you’re one with God all things will be possible! Your thoughts will indeed be established! And with Christ by your side you will persevere, you will overcome all things! And I am not talking about thoughts of a guaranteed lottery win, or having a great job, or maybe an awesome car or huge house, (although many of these things are possible, if your heart is in the right place.) What I am talking about is no matter what your situation good or bad, you will be able to overcome them all! And no matter how hard your life may seem, and no matter how hard the struggle, you will have endless indescribable joy while having the peace and comfort of knowing that you have a hope and a future in Christ!

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:1-5 NKJV)

Heavenly Father,
We give you our all; we give you our full attention! We put your Son front and center! We hold Jesus Christ close to our hearts and we become one! We do life your way not our way! And with this commitment we have indescribable joy, we have peace, we have your promise of a hope and a future, our names are written in the book of life! We can do all things, we can overcome all things! We have eternal life; we have a place in Heaven! One day soon we will meet again, and we will join those who we love and died in Christ, we will live forever and ever in Heaven! Father I pray for the lost, I pray for the ones who are struggling, and I pray for those who just don’t get it! Father, let those of us who believe shine a light that’s so bright that those who don’t believe will have no other choice than to be drawn to you like a piece of steel to a very strong magnet! Nevertheless Father, it is your will that be done not ours! In Jesus’ name I pray! Amen!
