Dig into God’s word and let Jesus rule over your hearts and minds!

There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man. (Mark 7:15 NKJV)

Most of us have no clue when it comes to our own outward appearance. Sure we can look in a mirror and see our own reflections. But what we see is not always what everyone else sees! We need to be careful; we need to pay attention to the thoughts of our hearts and minds! We need to live according to the Spirit not the flesh! For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. (Romans 8:5 NKJV) When we are dirty on the outside we wash our bodies with soap and water. When we are dirty on the inside we wash our hearts and minds with God’s word! “Apply your heart to instruction, And your ears to words of knowledge.” (Proverbs 23:12 NKJV) Dig into God’s word and let Jesus rule over your hearts and minds with His Holy Spirit! Change your ways, and become clean! And when you look in the mirror you will see yourself for who you truly are, and if you see error you will fix the error!

Pray to God,

“Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart!” (Psalms 26:2 NKJV) Fill me with your Holy Spirit help me change my ways! Help me clean my heart and mind from the dirt within! “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me!” (psalm 51:10 NKJV) O help me Lord, fill my mind with love and things that are pleasing to your ears! Help me to encourage and build up, not put down and destroy! “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” (psalms 19:14 NKJV) Father you are so wonderful, you are so amazing! You give us life, you give us hope! Thank you for everything! In Jesus name I pray amen!
