Eighteen words that describe what Jesus went through so that we all may live. A list of words to seriously think about and ponder.
With arms spread wide, Jesus hung on a cross and died for our sins, He was buried, and then rose again on the third day. He now sits at the right hand of God and intercede’s for those who are His!
According to John’s gospel, those who are His are those who receive Jesus as their Lord and King!
John 1:12 states, “but as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And so it is, if we are His, then we partake in The Lord’s Supper and remember Him for all that He has done for us! In remembrance of Him we do this, until The day of His return.
We break bread in the form of a cracker, which is His Body, and we drink the juice, which is His Blood. We do this in remembrance of Him and we do this as we work out our own salvation before The Lord.
We give Him our heart, we give Him our souls! We ask Him for forgiveness from our sins and we thank Him for all that He has done. We pick up our own cross and follow Jesus! We ask Him to guide us and set us upon the correct path to His glorious kingdom.
We follow His word and follow His way by picking up our bibles and reading them! We diligently seek His word for all that He is and all the while we proclaim His death until He returns, by spreading the gospel and living a life that’s upright and pleasing to The Lord! And as a result we have victory in this life and the next!
We praise Jesus for all that He has done on this Good Friday! A day of celebration for the saved sinner! Thank you Jesus!
