My help comes from the Lord!

I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. – Psalms 121:1-2 (NKJV)

Look up, look down, look all around, what do you see? I don’t know about you, but I see everything that God has made! And what has God made? Everything! And without God you would see nothing! As a matter of fact, without God you would not exist! So, is it reasonable to say that God is your creator? Yes, it would! Would it also be reasonable to say that when we need help shouldn’t we ask help from the one who made us? Yes, it would! Only our creator can give us the help that we truly need! Our creator knows our hearts and minds! He knows you, He knows me! And God can help us!  But we need to reach out to Him. We need to trust in His Son Jesus! We need to invite Him in! We must ask him for His help! Do you need help from The Lord today? Ask Jesus to intercede for you on your behalf! Ask that you be filled with His Holy Spirit! Ask for His strength to overcome the world!

For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning’s which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. – Romans 8:26-27 (NKJV)

Heavenly Father, creator of all things, thank you for being there, thank you for your amazing creations, and thank you for all that you do! We invite Jesus into our lives to help us with our troubles and tribulations of this life. We need His help to overcome! We need intercession from Jesus to make things happen! Make it happen, make it so! Fill us with your Holy Spirit; give us the strength we need! You know our hearts, you know our minds! Nevertheless it is your will be done not ours, we give all the glory and honor to you! In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
