No longer bound by the chains of sin!

But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. (Romans 7:6 NKJV)

As Christians when we are born again we become a new creation in Christ, we are no longer bound by the chains of sin that separated us from God, and we are no longer bound by the Old Testament laws. The Commandments of the Old Testament were put into place for those who refuse to obey God; for those who continue to sin; and for those who refuse God’s greatest gift, (His one and only Son Jesus Christ, who came to be the sacrifice for all our sins past, present and future!) As Christian’s we no longer follow the worldly ways, we follow God’s way! We are of the Spirit, and the newness of the Spirit works inside us to help us to do what is right and pleasing for God. The Spirit helps us from falling back into our old ways! Disobeying the laws and continuing to sin. How wonderful it is to have Jesus Christ, The Savior of the world, and the Spirit of God working inside of us, helping us and protecting us from the sins that so easily ensnare us! And even if we do stumble every once in a while, Jesus and The Holy Spirit are there to lift us back up and put us back onto the right path!

Having faith in God and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and following in all His ways is the best decision we will ever make! We will have triumph over sin once and for all! We will break the chains!

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. (Romans 6:14, 22 NKJV)

God,
Your grace is sufficient enough! Thank you for all that you do! Thank you for being the guide and the compass for our lives! Thank you for giving us your Son and your Spirit! Thank you for giving us the gift of everlasting life! Amen Father! Amen!
