How are you doing? How are you feeling? Has the world got you down?
Jesus tells us…“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV)
Make the best out of the hand you were dealt by taking heed to the words of Paul the Apostle, “whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” (Philippians 4:8 NKJV)
Stop sweating the small stuff and letting the things you have no control over effect your life! Change the things you can change, forget about the things you can’t change! Stay focused and get a grip! Stay in tune and give an ear to the words of Jesus!
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV)
Set your heart on the eternal things! The things that are heavenly! Our lives go by way to fast to worry about the temporary things! Set your sights on Jesus! For He will give you true life! A life with real meaning and purpose! Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks, “If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV)
