The Holy Bible – God’s written word

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. – Romans 15:4 (NKJV)

The Holy Bible, “God’s written word” was given to us so we can learn about where we came from, how we should live, and where we are going. By studying the scriptures we can learn how to live life God’s way, we can learn what His will for our life is. We can learn how to live when we have Christ in our life. And if we have patience and meditate on the scriptures daily, not only will we overcome our struggles in this life, but we will have the comfort of knowing that we might have hope that in the end we will have victory over the world!

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV)

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for inspiring those who wrote the Bible so many years ago. Thank you for giving us the knowledge needed to learn what your will for our lives is. Thank you for giving us the hope that we need to live this life to its fullest! Thank you for being you! In Jesus’ name amen!
