What is preaching?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. ~ Romans 1:16 (NKJV)

Jesus Christ died for our sins, He was buried, and was raised on the third day, He shed His blood for us all! Jesus Christ died for you and me! What are you waiting for? Ask Him to be a part of your life today!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ~ John 3:16 (NKJV)

What is preaching? “Publicly proclaiming the gospel.”

The testimony of God: speaking out his story – God sent his one and only son to die on a cross for all our sins past, present and future.

Jesus Christ: The son of God, born of a virgin, sinless life, sent as an atonement, the lamb of life

Him crucified: Died on a cross for all our sins, took on the weight of the world.

The Gospel: The death, the burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ

Christ: The power of God

The result of preaching: Demonstration of spirit and power

  • Attend the word of God (Hebrews 10)
  • Accept the word of God (Thessalonians 2:13)
  • Apply the word of God (James 1)
  • Appreciate the word of God (Psalm 119)

Why do we preach? Because God has ordained it! He wants his power to be known! It’s all about God!
