Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day. – Psalms 25:4, 5 (NKJV)
Having high speed Internet access is pretty awesome! I can always go to my favorite search engine and type in just about any question and get an instant answer! There’s no waiting, there’s no screeching from that old dial up modem, it’s instant! The only problem is trying to decide which answer on the page is correct! Which link should I click? What website should I go to? There’s so much information that sometimes it can be just so overwhelming!
Luckily with God it’s a lot easier than that! With God we don’t have to be overwhelmed with a long list of possibilities! And with God, we can expect to get the correct answer every time! Even when it’s not the answer we expected to get! But that’s OK, God knows best! You just need to ask the right questions! And yes! You will have to open up your bible if you expect to have your questions answered! You must open God’s written word! That is where you will find God’s answers to life’s questions! It may not be as instant as the Internet, but that’s OK! Listen closely and pay attention, God will speak to you! Before you open your bible pray to God and ask Him for guidance, ask Him to shine His light upon the pages and reveal His answers to you! When you read God’s word meditate on it, and let it absorb into your mind! You will find what you’re looking for! I tell you the truth! God’s truth!
we live in an impatient world where all we want is instant results! We want it all! We want it now! But with your word patience is needed! And we must take the time every day to get away from our busy schedules to meditate on it! We must open our hearts, our minds, and our bibles! The time is now! We mustn’t wait! As I already know lives can end in the blink of an eye! And I thank you for the lives of those that have been lost! I know your word will never change or go away, but our lives will! Father I pray to you today for those who don’t know you, those who are searching, those who are lost. Those who think they can keep putting you off for another day, and for those who just don’t care! Father Help them to see the light, help them to find their way! Father I ask that you help me to shine your light and show them the way! Keep me filled with your Holy Spirit so I can be that good and faithful servant, help me guide their way to you! I thank you for all that you have done and are doing in my life and in the lives of those who diligently seek you! I thank you for all my brothers and sisters in Christ keep them filled Father, keep them filled! Nevertheless, it is your will I seek not mine! In Jesus name I pray amen!
